The desk where Charles Dickens penned Great Expectations is to go up for auction by Christie's in London. The desk, and chair, are believed to be worth around £80,000. The furniture was donated by Dicken's relatives and all proceeds from the sale will go to the restoration of Great Ormand Street Children's Hospital.Full Story Here
